HOW TO JOIN A CHURCH

MEMBERSHIP
This is what membership in our church means.
JOINING
Membership is about saying I want to be apart of what God is doing here at Tamworth Baptist Church. We run membership and baptism classes twice a year to discuss what baptism means, what following Jesus looks like and where TBC is going.
LIVING
Because we believe that Christians don't just go to church but that they are the church, we make doing life together a priority. Joining a life group is a high priority for our members so they can be prayed for, supported and held accountable.
SERVING
Jesus said, "It's better to give than to receive."
We don't want to act like church consumers but we want to come and glorify God and serve each other. Serving is a part of belonging, growing and connecting.
GIVING
We want to both do and support the ministry of making Christ known in this community. We ask members to make TBC their first priority in tithing because we believe in the local church. This is what God is building and we call you to be part of it, to help make it happen.
